PURPOSE: FBLA provides a means of learning correct and accepted social and business behavior. Through contact with teachers, advisers, employers, and businesspeople, members learn to develop confidence in their own abilities. FBLA provides the business leader of tomorrow with the necessary skils to successfully compete in the job market, pursue postsecondary education, or manage personal business. The purpose of FBLA is to provide, as an integral part of the instructional program, additional opportunities for secondary students in business education and/or business-related fields to develop vocational and career supportive competencies and to promote civic and personal responsibility.
