Incentive Plan

The Board of Education supports the concept of school improvement and recognizes the importance of quality teachers in this effort. In support of this committment, the Board of Education has agreed to appropriate incentive pay in the amount outlined below in the following areas:

$100 per credit

TEACH COLLEGE CREDIT COURSE FORM.

Teach a College Credit Course under the guidelines outlined by Northeast Community College's early entry program.
a. Master Degree Teacher
b. Approval of Course Curriculum
c. Enroll students in College Course
c. Teach course
d. Assess student progress
e. Record grades with Northeast Community College

$250 per semester

TEACH DISTANCE LEARNING COURSE FORM.

 

Teach a Distance Learning Course under the guidelines outlined per semester by the Eastern Nebraska-Distance Learning Consortium.
a. Selected by Distance Learning Consortium
b. Approval of Course Curriculum
c. Enroll Students in Course
c. Teach Course
d. Assess Student Progress

$250 per semester

TEACHING ASSIGNMENT OUTSIDE OF DISTRICT.

CONDUCT WORKSHOP/CLASS FORM.

WORKSHOP/CLASS EVALUATION FORM.

Conduct an approved workshop or class for staff.

$500 per class (one class per year)

COMMUNITY PROJECT FORM.

Sponsor community involvement or service project.

Driver Education Assignment
a. Teach an approved Driver Education Course outside of the regular contract assignment.
b. Approval of Principal.
c. Keep a log of classroom and driving hours for each student.
d. Comply with regulations set forth by the Department of Motor Vehicles.
e. Present grades and evidence of course completion to the principal.

SPECIAL CERTIFICATED ASSIGN. FORM

 

Special Certificated Assignments
a. Special certificated assignments for projects requiring certification, outside of the terms and conditions of the regular contract, and congruent to the responsibilities of the employee's present position.
b. Approval of Building Level Principal and Superintendent.
c. Project must take place outside of the regular school hours.
d. Present special project syllabus/lesson plan/description.
e. Conduct project or assignment within specified time or period.
f. Present results/verification of project completion.
g. Present results for Board Approval.

$100 per day or at the Rate established by ESU, Grant, etc.

SPECIAL PROJECTS FORM

 

Special Projects Assignments
a. Special projects assignments supporting the planning, writing, or review of educational programs requiring work to be completed in addition to the regular assignment or beyond regular contract requirements.
b. Conduct project or assignment within specified time or period.
c. Present results/verification of project completion to the principal.
d. Present results for Board Approval.

$20 per session (2 hr. minimum)

a. Support project assignments in the areas of clerical, custodial, bus driver, kitchen, paraprofessional, library/media, etc...beyond the scope of the regular professional position and contract requirements.

d. Complete necessary requirements and log time card.
