Exploratory Agriculture
Class Description: 1 quarter. This class will learn the concepts and
skills necessary for agricultural literacy. Skills and concepts in class will
involve environment and resource conservation, small animals, aquaculture, agricultural
careers, agricultural leadership, and the FFA.

State Content Standards Achieved:
8.5.1 Science: Students will determine consequences of soil erosion.
Students will determine factors of water quality.
8.7.3 Science: Students will describe how human activities affect agriculture
and natural resources.
8.7.2 Science: Students will identify considerations in owning a pet.
8.4.3 Science: Students will determine necessary care of a pet.
