Class Description: 1 quarter. This class will learn the concepts and skills necessary for agricultural literacy. Skills and concepts in class will involve the importance of agriculture, growing plants, Care for animals, agricultural and non-food agricultural products, and communication skills.

8.7.2 Science: Students will describe the importance of agriculture to Laurel, Nebraska, the United States, and the world.

8.8.2 Science: Students will determine necessary minerals for plant growth by experimenting with hydroponics.

8.4.4 Science: Students will discuss the importance of plants.
