are CLE's for Junior High P.E.
1. The student will demonstrate an understanding of the basic rules of
the following games:
Basketball
Volleyball
Softball
Pickelball
Flag Football
Track and Field
2. The student will demonstrate the abilty to:
pass and receive a ball while moving
pivot and pass a ball to a partner
change dribbling hands while going the length of the floor 2 times
use proper shooting technique
3. The student will demonstrate the ability to:
serve a volleyball
pass a volleyball
set a volleyball
score the game
4. The student will demonstrate the ability to:
throw a softball
hit a pitched softball 3 times in a row in fair territory
field the softball
5. The student will demonstrate the ability to:
serve the ball
use a forehand
use a backhand
volley the ball
score the game
6. The student will demonstrate the ability to:
catch the ball
throw the ball
kick the ball
punt the ball
7. The student will demonstrate an understanding of various track and
field events and proper techniques in several events.
8. The student will participate in the fitness testing unit

1. Weightlifting
-demonstrate proper techniques for lifting

-demonstrate strength level progression
-demonstrate knowledge of the muscles used for each exercise
2. Fitness tests
-students will participate in a fitness unit
-students will demonstrate and understanding of the importance of fitness and periodic testing
3. Aerobics/Cardio respiratory Conditioning
-demonstrate and understanding of the purpose and importance of aerobic conditioning
-safely participate in aerobic activities
-students will lower their resting heart rate
4. Core Strength
-demonstrate proper core strength exercises
-demonstrate improved core strength
5. Agility/Speed
-students will participate in speed and agility development exercises
6. Flexibility
-demonstrate proper stretching techniques
