ILCD/Wellness Committee Minutes
January 3, 2006

On Jan. 3, 2006 the ILCD group met. The meeting focused on the internal teams that have been set up. The team includes:

Students: Arik D., Malarie G., and Heather B.
Parents: Marcy T. and Amy N.
Communtiy Members: Barb E. and Rich B.
Teachers: Sheri M. and Leah M.

Dr. Hoesing stated to our chair people that Wellness needs to be done with their policy by June 30 or July 1st. The team will review sites and review plans on the internet. On the School Improvement Plan we will update the web site posting ILCD memorandum done as of Sept. 2005. We also must insert our Goal for Improvement Plan to be finished by Oct. 2006.

Changes to be made on the site:
Reviewed Special Educ. Program in Sept. 2005
Expanded Advisor/Advisee Progarm in Aug. 2005
Expanded Team Mates Mentor Program in Dec. 2005

The Wellness Team must also include inserting on the site School Lunch Survey Dec. 2005
and say completion date will be done June 2006. We must add new head cook to Wellness Committee is Jeanette Waterman.

To finalize our meeting Terry B. presented the book "walk awhile in my shoes". This book is a view from both administrators and teachers on various issues. Teachers were then divided into groups and all groups will read and discuss the book together with the completion date being April. All comments and suggestions will then be brought to the Steering Committee for them to present to our administrators. This is an excellent way for us to look at and view both sides rationally.
