LAUREL-CONCORD PUBLIC SCHOOL
Psychology Services

My background as a certified school psychologist and licensed professional counselor helps me understand a student's overall adjustment in life. This includes their status at home, in the community, at school and in relationship to their friends and associates.

When specific needs arise, my focus with individual students begins with testing. This helps us understand how the student views himself/herself and the world around them. Next, a plan is devised that focuses on improving the student's adjustment in all of his/her environments.

As Laurel-Concord Public School's Psychologist, I see students individually or in small groups to support and encourage them. I also help students learn pro social skills. Many times working with teachers and parents is the most efficacious method of influencing a student in a positive direction.

Laurel-Concord School has available resources for parents and families to address discipline, communication, and problem solving with children. Many of these skills are helpful and unique. Psychological tools can help improve an already successful child or adult to maximize their potential through greater self-knowledge, skill enhancement, and strategic planning.

If you have a concern about your child that you would like to visit with me about, please contact me at (402)256-3731. Individual or group consultations are available.
