IMMUNIZATION REQUIREMENTS

Per the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services...

ALL school age children must have proof of 2 varicella vaccinations (or documentation that the child has had the chicken pox) prior to the start of school in the fall.

If the child is under 13 and has never had a varicella vaccination, they need to have at least 3 months between the original shot and the booster shot.

If the child is over 13, there needs to be at least 1 month between the shots.

All children entering the 7th grade must have proof of a TDAP booster.
